That's right Chinese on St Patrick's Day!! Now.. there are 2 types of Chinese restaurants - the old school and the fancy modern. Chinese Delight is definitely not fancy and not modern! It is oooollllld school! You walk in the restaurant over a little bridge...
Before booking our trip to California we had considered going island hopping in Greece so when we saw Meze we knew we had to try it. The restaurant is in the GasLamp Quarter so close to everything! http://www.gaslampmeze.com It's described as 'Greek Fusion' and that's exactly what it is!
I did not know this place existed and I don't think you would unless someone has taken you there. It is in Tower 42 and its the second side door on the right. You walk in and there are two people waiting there who show you to the lift. It's all very fancy and secretive... I felt like I was in speakeasy.
I have been to Bo Drakes a couple of times and it is by far one of my favourite places. It's a mix between my two favourite things - Asian food and BBQ!
I had thought about going up the shard however the £20 price to visit the viewing platform got me looking at alternative places. I found the sky garden which also has amazing views over the river.
Although I have made pizza before I have never actually made the dough - I would usually pick up a ready made base. Now being someone who has eaten alot...ALOT of pizza I believed I could do better!
I have previously been dubbed ‘shark biscuit’ for my surfing skills when travelling in Australia, therefore the idea of boogie boarding had never really appealed to me, but I will try anything once!
I try to eat healthy - who doesn't?! But sometimes all you need is a legend box from KFC, today was one of those days.
