McDonalds, Liverpool, Aigburth Road… get in my belly!
This McDonalds in walking distance from my house and is your average McDonalds. It has a standard drive through and those machines that you can use to order, so you don’t even have to speak to anyone to get your delicious feast!
Ok so even though it’s soo close, it’s very rare that I get myself a McDonalds (actually it’s probably less rare than I would like to think but anyway), I can never decide whether I fancy a Big Mac, a McChicken Sandwich, a Cheeseburger or one of their fancy limited edition burgers. Sometimes the classics are just the best so I decided to get a classic burger, Big Mac, McChicken Sandwich or a Cheeseburger.
It’s always a dilemma for me chicken or beef, the beef is soo good, the Cheeseburger in particular just the perfect proportions and a little gherkin, but that McChicken Sandwich with the mayo and crisp lettuce – a winner every time!
Ok so instead of choosing I got both. Everyone knows they want a burger meal with a burger side, but do you have the bottle to order a side of burger with your meal. I’m telling you now… DO IT! You will not regret it!
On my last visit I went for the Big Mac, so on this occasion I opted for the small but perfect Cheeseburger.
Obviously as with KFC you need to be in your perfect lounge attire for consumption.
I went for the chips first otherwise they get a bit cold… then I alternated between Cheeseburger and McChicken Sandwich.
The chips were nice and crunchy but still had that fluffy potato centre. The McChicken Sandwich – never disappoints. Good chicken, nice fresh seeded bun, plenty of lettuce and a nice bit of mayo. You cannot beat McDonalds mayo.
The Cheesburger… always a delight. The perfect burger to bun ratio, diced onions, little bit of ketchup and the winner… the gherkin. Absolutely delicious.
Now even though I’ve picked both its then the choice as to which you finish on… You always gotta have the best bite last!
Last time is went for the Big Mac and I wished I’d gone for the McChicken sandwich, so this time it was a no brainer I was saving that last bite for the McChicken Sandwich… should’ve hit the cheeseburger last. I think this has taught me a valid life lesson, neither is the superior burger and you always want more maccies!!

I don’t know about Liverpool, but here in the US, the best thing going at McDonald’s is definitely the breakfast choices. A sausage McGriddle will brighten any day!

They both look yummy! The only time I got to try Mcdonald’s in the UK, I was amazed to see that they had mozzarella sticks on their menu – of course I had to try that one out, and it was actually quite good, though I doubt that it’d be added into my country’s McDo anytime soon which is quite sad really lol. :’)

You haven’t witness the odious style of McD in Malaysia, it does not even look similar to the pictures above, it is far away from the advertisements, it is just a pathetic lump of concussion. Glad your country serve this type of McD. Interesting review and write-up. Hope to see more from you. Have hope, write on!
